Commissions? Yes, we do commissions. Read the answers below, then send us your idea — or email [email protected].
Commissions
Are commissions open?
Yes. We currently accept new commissions every month. Send a request via the Ask page and we will confirm the next available slot in our reply.
What can I commission?
Character portraits, original character design and turnaround sheets, book covers and editorial illustration, button badge design packs, concept art and environments, and 1:1 drawing lessons.
Do you draw fan art commissions?
Yes, for personal use only — for example a portrait of you as a favourite character. We do not create fan art for resale or commercial use, because the characters belong to their owners.
Is there anything you will not draw?
We do not draw hateful content, real people without their consent, sexual content, or copies of other artists’ work. We may decline any brief that does not fit the studio.
Pricing & payment
How much does it cost?
Starting prices are published on the Services page: portraits from $120, character design from $260, book covers from $450, badge designs from $90, concept art from $380 and lessons from $45. The calculator gives an instant estimate.
How do I pay?
We send an invoice payable by PayPal or bank transfer. A 50% deposit starts the project and the balance is due before final high-resolution files are delivered. We never store card details.
Can I get a refund?
The deposit covers the sketch stage and is non-refundable once work has started. If we cannot complete the work, you receive a full refund. Full details are in the Refund Policy.
Process & delivery
How long does a commission take?
Portraits typically take 7–14 working days, character sheets 10–20, covers 3–5 weeks. Rush delivery (+25%) is sometimes possible.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds at sketch stage and one round at colour stage. Additional changes are billed at an hourly rate agreed in advance.
What files will I receive?
A high-resolution PNG or JPG at 300 dpi at your print size, a web-optimised version, and — on request — a layered PSD or a CMYK PDF for printers.
Usage & rights
Can I use the art commercially?
Personal use is included by default (prints for your wall, profile pictures, gifts). Commercial use — merch, book covers, games, advertising — requires a commercial licence, which is quoted up front.
Who owns the copyright?
The studio keeps the copyright and grants you a licence for the agreed use. Buy-outs of full rights are possible for an additional fee.
Will you post my commission online?
We may show finished work in our portfolio unless you request privacy or an NDA when ordering.
