Rizoron is a small, independent illustration studio and art blog. We draw characters, covers and convention merch for clients around the world — and write honest, practical guides about how it all works.

Our story

rizoron.com started in 2011 as an illustration blog: fan art of favourite shows, original character experiments, quick sketches and notes from Malaysian comic conventions. The archive of that era — created by illustrator Rezan Ansari — is preserved on this site with full credit.

Today Rizoron continues as a studio with the same spirit: love experimenting, always searching for fun projects to work on next. We take on commissions, design badge packs for artist-alley tables, mentor people who are learning to draw, and publish long-form guides on the craft and business of illustration.

We work remotely with clients worldwide, in English, and answer every enquiry personally.

What we value

Six promises that shape every project.

Characters first

Every brief starts with who the character is — pose, expression and colour follow from personality.

Transparent process

You approve thumbnails, sketch and colour. No surprises at the end, no hidden fees.

Fair, clear pricing

Starting prices are published. Quotes are itemised, licences are spelled out in plain English.

Print-ready files

Correct size, resolution and colour profile for wherever your art will live — screen, print or merch.

One point of contact

You talk to the person drawing your piece, not to a ticket queue.

Honest references

We use licensed or our own reference photos and never trace other artists’ work.
